Refund policy

1. Summary
New paid subscriptions to Formfyl may be refunded within 14 days of the initial purchase, no questions asked. Renewals and add-on purchases beyond that window are non-refundable except where required by law or where we determine, at our discretion, that a refund is warranted.
Refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record, back to the original payment method.
2. Eligibility — 14-day refund window
You are eligible for a full refund of the most recent subscription payment if all of the following are true:
— Your refund request is made within 14 calendar days of the initial subscription payment;
— Your account has not violated the Acceptable Use section of our Terms of Service;
— The refund request is for the initial subscription on the account (not a renewal).
After the 14-day window, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law (such as where local consumer protection rules grant a longer cooling-off period).
3. Renewals
Subscription renewals are charged automatically at the start of each new billing cycle. Renewals are non-refundable.
To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You can cancel any time in your account billing settings, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
4. Pro-rated refunds on plan changes
If you downgrade or cancel a yearly subscription mid-cycle, we do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused time, except where required by law. We will, however, honour the paid period — you keep access at your current plan level until the end of the billing cycle.
5. Refunds for outages or material defects
If the Service becomes unavailable for a sustained period due to our fault, contact [email protected]. We may, at our discretion, issue a service credit or a partial refund proportional to the period affected.
6. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Formfyl account. Include:
— Your Paddle order ID (visible on the receipt email Paddle sent you);
— The reason for the refund (optional but helpful);
— Your account email if different from the sender.
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and to process eligible refunds within 5-10 business days of the request. The actual time for funds to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
7. Non-refundable items
The following are not refundable under any circumstances:
— Renewal payments after the initial 14-day window (subject to Section 2);
— Any third-party charges incurred while using the Service (such as fees you may incur from your own payment processors or telecommunications providers);
— Accounts terminated for material breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us, we may suspend access to the Service pending the resolution of the dispute. We encourage you to contact [email protected] first — we can usually resolve refund issues faster and more amicably than a chargeback can.
9. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants additional refund rights (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law), those rights apply regardless of the terms above.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the new effective date. The most current version always lives at formfyl.com/legal/refund-policy.
